About
Zombie Nation — Florian Senfter
After spending his early years organising warehouse parties, Florian Senfter introduced his project Zombie Nation in 1999. The first release on International Deejay Gigolo Records contained the massive hit Kernkraft 400, which has become an electronic music classic.
In a twist of fate, the track made it from a 12" vinyl underground record into clubs and festivals, then into the charts and sports stadiums around the world. More than 25 years after its original release, it remains a popular peak-time club hit and one of the most recognised anthems in global sports.
While touring his analogue-gear live show and DJ sets through festivals and clubs across the globe, Florian has released five albums and many 12-inches. He is based in New York He releases on his own label UKW Records, as well as Get Physical, Sweat It Out and Turbo Recordings.
Other projects include ZZT, a collaboration with Canadian DJ and producer Tiga, and John Starlight.

"Zombie Nation is German DJ and producer Florian Senfter, who twists weird sounds and
computer game soundtracks into his own frizzled version of techno."
