In 2008 I recorded percussion in this underpass in Munich to catch some natural reverb for the 2009 ‘Zombielicious’ album. There is a special feeling to it when you know where you harvest the ingredients to your mix. Especially reverbs are very recognizable.
On Zombielicious there was quite some re-recording action going on. At the time I had a studio in Munich Schwabing with a proper recording booth, so I had it set up that I could play synth basslines through an amplifier in the recording room, and I would record to the sound coming back from the microphone.
